Kimberly is located at the intersection of Oregon Route 19 and 402 and the confluence of the John Day and the North Fork John Day rivers. The John Day River Trading Post is located at the intersection.

Central Oregon Community College

The Central Oregon Community College comprises of multiple buildings with stunning architecture, all located in the high desert and surrounded by old ponderosas and expansive mountain views.

With buildings ranging from the 1960’s to present day, there’s a vibe for whatever shoot you have.  

A light filled library can double as an art gallery, and many rooms have towering ceilings with gorgeous light streaming through year round.

The campus has a total of 26 different buildings, the most recently built being the residence hall in 2015. The location provides views of the Cascade Mountains, with ample production parking and expansive hallways for easy filming.

Sisters, Oregon (Downtown)

Sitting between the high desert and the spectacular Cascades mountain range, Sisters  is a little city with a wild west ambiance. The downtown area is a charming mix of vintage style storefronts and saloons.  The town has a population of just over 2,000 and is surrounded by ponderosa’s and beautiful parks.  Perfect for an ‘old time Americana’ feel, this is a charming town for a stylized shoot.  With a Best Western and the Five Pine Resort close to downtown, there’s nearby accommodation for a recreational shoot in the Three Sisters Wilderness.

Sunriver Resort

Sunriver Resort is a golf resort located in Central Oregon with views of Mt.Bachelor in the distance. It is available as both a location property and an accommodation site.

It is the largest lodging property in Central Oregon, and also has a spa center.

The resort also has private homes for rent and location use in a woodland setting.

Shaniko, Oregon (Ghost Town)

Shaniko is in Wasco County, in north-central Oregon, at the intersection of U.S. Route 97 and Oregon Route 218.The city is 69 miles (111 km) north of Redmond (major airport with daily flights from LAX) and 131 miles (211 km) east of Portland.

The city is at an elevation of 3,343 feet (1,019 m). On the high plateau on which Shaniko was built, the surrounding landscape consists mainly of sagebrush, bunchgrass, and occasional junipers. Many peaks of the Cascade Range, including Hood, Jefferson, Adams, St. Helens and Rainier, are visible from the city.

Shaniko would make a brilliant setting for music video’s or catalog shoots.   There is plenty of space for crew vehicles.

Best accommodation would be located in nearby Maupin, approximately 20 miles from Shaniko.

The Shaniko Historic District, includes the Columbia Southern Hotel, city hall and jailhouse, a schoolhouse, and 42 other properties, some of which have been renovated. The NRHP nomination form for the district provides historical details, references, images, and descriptions.

The surrounding area consists of stunning winding roads through Antelope Valley and wide open plains traveling north to Maupin.
