Welcome to the Central Oregon Film Office
Promote. Partner. Produce.
The Central Oregon Film Office, located in Bend Oregon, is your one-stop resource for all Film and TV productions shooting East of the Cascade Mountain Ranges. Central and Eastern Oregon are home to some of the most diverse film regions in the United States. From towering snow capped mountains to sub tropical rain-forests, authentic Western desert tundras to bottomless crystal blue volcanic lakes and, of course, our own charming city of Bend, our region has more to offer at less cost for productions. Bend has 300 days of sunshine per year and a professional location and infrastructure team that will ensure you get the most out of your Central Oregon production experience offering working relationships with state, county, and city officials to help with production needs. Central Oregon now has direct flights from Los Angeles via American Airlines to Redmond and access to private and charter flight to Bend’s regional airport and heliport. We are easily accessible and available to work with you on permitting, location scouting and management, and crew hire. We know that production budgets are not what they used to be. Let us introduce you to Oregon’s rebate incentives: 25% of your Oregon-based goods and services, and an additional cash payment of up to 26.2% of payroll wages paid to production personnel working in the state and more. Before you decide to shoot yet another production in California or Seattle, come and visit us in Bend, Oregon and discover a world of new locations, better access, less cost and ease of production. Additionally, we can also help you with Eastern Oregon. Home to the Steens Mountain range, Alvord Desert and the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, this area is more remote, but equally as stunning as anywhere you’ve been in your life!
